Company history

SC Sporthomes began as a hobby in the 1990s and was formally established in 2000. It started life as a bespoke race truck manufacturer, building vehicles for motorsport teams, and only later turned its attention to luxury leisure vehicles.

That motorsport origin is still visible in the product. The range runs from the compact Sport Tourer to the flagship World Cruiser, and includes specialised pieces such as the SC Rally Sprinter and limited edition Tourer variants. Bodies are built around proven commercial chassis, with the flagship Sport Cruiser using a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 519 platform.

The company consolidated its operations at a purpose-built facility in Panteg, where design, manufacture and interior fit-out all happen under one roof. Keeping building and service in the same place is unusual in this sector and it shortens the distance between a design change and a finished vehicle.

What to check before buying

  • This is a low-volume manufacturer. Lead times for a bespoke build are long, and the configuration you order is the configuration you get.
  • Because the vehicles are hand-finished to order, ask for the actual specification sheet and build slot in writing before paying a deposit.
Official websiteCurrent model years, priced configurations and dealer lists live on the manufacturer's own site.
